Charm City's Sisqó represents the Free State on NBC's 'American Song Contest'

Yes, longtime hip hop fans probably know Sisqó best from his hit "Thong Song." That was back in 2001, when he thought he was rapping about the finer things in life, but the Baltimore native has plenty of hits to his credit.

The longtime frontman of Dru Hill has gone platinum and earned Grammy Awards. He's also won six Billboard Music Awards, including Male Artist of the Year in 2000. Now he wants to add "American Song Contest" winner to his already extensive resumé.

As you've seen on his videos, he's more than just a singer, he's a performer. When he's belting out hits like “Incomplete,” “In My Bed,” “5 Steps,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “We’re Not Making Love No More,” Mark Althavean Andrews is also dancing, and he's a heck of a dancer.

Andrews has been performing since he was two, and is known for using his powerful vocals and choreography to not just sing, but to give an entire performance. And when he does it on NBC's new show, he'll be proud to represent Baltimore.
