Hello again! It's Sharon Coolidge, back for a second day this week. (Did you miss me yet?)
Thank you to everyone who read Monday’s stories about the condition of city streets. With Cincinnati City Council off on summer recess, I teamed up with my Enquirer co-worker Patricia Gallagher Newberry to catch up with the Cincinnati Futures Commission.

Its job is to look at short-term and long-term financial fixes.
The group has been working since January, and it’s too soon to say what they’re thinking. But who’s doing the thinking is just as interesting. See how many of the 34 names you recognize on the commission member list in our story today.
