The Chase's Paul Sinha shares sweet proposal story with £20 ring

The Chase star Paul Sinha has shared a sweet story, revealing that he proposed to his husband Olly Levy with a £20 ring from Topshop.
After proposing with the budget ring in 2019, the broadcaster married his long-term partner in a ceremony he described as 'wonderful'.
Appearing on Thursday's Loose Men panel alongside Martin Kemp, Tommy Fury and Vernon Kay, Sinha said the proposal had nothing to do with the value of a piece of jewellery but is instead about love and companionship.

"The one thing I knew he wouldn't value was an expensive ring, that's not what drives the relationship," Sinha said. "It's companionship and love and having fun, it's not the value of jewellery."
During the special all-male episode of Loose Women, which marked Mental Health Awareness Week, Sinha opened up about his marriage, saying: "Everyone deserves their moment in the sun and their moment of happiness.
"You look at someone and you go, 'You're never going to be happier than you are with that one person' and you think, 'Why not make it official?'"

During his Loose Men debut, Sinha also opened up about his Parkinson's diagnosis, describing how the disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2019, will impact his life (via The Mirror).
"I have Parkinson's. It is a tough call, and it will get tougher for me," he explained. "In the years that I have ahead of me, I want to do my best to show that it doesn't have to ruin your quality of life, and that you can fight against the stereotypes others have of you.
"For that reason, when I'm out and about, I try even harder to look my best. I want people to know that I am not vanishing, I'm still fighting as hard as ever."
