Chautauqua book club to discuss 'Kent State' on Sept. 29 meeting in Dover

DOVER − The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle, America's oldest continuous book club, will meet at noon Sept. 29 to discuss "Kent State" by Deborah Wiles, which is the 2022 One Book One Community selection.

If the weather permits, the group will meet at the top of Deis Hill Park. In case of inclement weather, the book club will meet in the community room at the library, 525 N. Walnut St.

Call the library at 330-343-6123 to request a copy of this month's title. For October, the group will read and discuss "Matterhorn" by Karl Marlantes.
