Check out the 16 Shreveport women being honored at the 2022 ATHENA Leadership Awards

The Greater Shreveport Chamber Business Development Connection announced the finalists for the 2022 ATHENA International Leadership Award. These 16 women will be honored on Wednesday, November 9 at the ATHENA Leadership Award Luncheon for their professional excellence, leadership and civic commitments.

This select group of finalist were chosen by the Chamber's Business Development Connection and will be honored on Nov. 9 at the ATHENA leadership Award Luncheon presented by Willis-Knighton Health System.

The ATHENA Leadership Award Program seeks to inspire others to achieve excellence in their professional and personal lives.

To be considered for this prestigious award, honorees must attain professional excellence, engage in community service and actively assist others, particularly women, in realizing their full leadership potential.

  • Arien Ragster - Louisiana Public Health Institute

  • Dr. Elise Morgan Trahant Lang - Lang Orthodontics

Out of this group of esteemed honorees, one individual will be announced as the ATHENA International Leadership Award recipient on Nov. 9.

Since 1982, almost 8,000 leaders in over 500 communities have received the ATHENA Leadership Award in the U.S. and 10 other countries including Canada, Mexico, China and Russia. The ATHENA Leadership Award Program seeks to inspire others to achieve excellence in their professional and personal lives.
