The oldest and most expensive home on this list, this residence exudes European countryside living. This home was taken from its original 1700s site and reassembled in Millbrook. Built there in 1987, the home has seven bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, and is on a lot spanning over 63 acres.

"Canoe Hill is the most exceptional home in the Hudson Valley," the listing reads. "At 12,650 SF, the house is split into three volumes, each telling its own story: the central corridor, the west wing, and the east wing."

This home blends Colonial, Greek Revival and Georgian architecture, highlighting the finest aspects of each style.

Within the central corridor, there are original pine floors, fireplaces in the kitchen and morning room, and a finished basement with a full wine cellar and tasting room. The west wing's trademark is a parlor living room with another fireplace, 22-foot ceilings, along with a private veranda that has its own outdoor fireplace. In the east wing, you'll find what the owners have called Tartan House behind a hidden door, with an entertainment room that has a full bar, billiards and you guessed it, another fireplace.

Outside the home showcases a formal rose garden, vegetable gardens, two covered pergolas, three-car garage, a guest house, and a pool with manicured gardens and mature fruit trees. To top it off, there is also a private winery and vineyard, with art production and bottling facility, and a two-bedroom apartment on top of the winery.

The second property on our list is the most contemporary, built in 2020, but is technically a farm, sporting a 134-acre lot. A modest home compared to the others on this list, there are four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms and 7,565 square feet of space.

The main residence is divided into two wings, including the service wing and entertainment wing. The main staircase and the elevator will take you to the second floor, with an outdoor entertaining space featuring a full bar and wood-burning fireplace. In the primary bedroom suite, you can even find a meditation room.

In addition, this home has a hot tub, infinity pool with an outdoor shower and spa, and a pool house. The pool house has its own kitchen, by the way, along with a lounge and half bathroom.

There is also a regulation-size polo field with stunning views of the Hudson Valley and a croquet court. "Barns with 48 stalls and multiple paddocks, while currently a polo facility, could make a superb show jumping stable," the listing reads.
