Check out the amazing gingerbread competition entry made by two North Georgia teens

Two teenagers from Blue Ridge won second place in the teen category of the 31st Annual National Gingerbread House Competition at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina on Nov. 20.

The Toccoa Titans, the team name listed on the competition website, created the "Grove's Miracle Tonic," a nod to pharmacist and entrepreneur Edwin W. Grove who built Ashville's Grove Park Inn, now a luxury hotel.

The competition started as a side project in 1992 by community members and now has grown to an international event that includes world-renown food and media professionals as judges, according to the competition's webpage.

"The Gingerbread Display has grown in more than just entries; it has become a true family holiday tradition," according to the Omni Grove Park Inn's website. "From the very young to the very young at heart, the reaction to this magical experience is the same - one of wonder, awe and delight."

All competition submissions will be on display at the Grove Park Inn until Jan. 2.

Over $40,000 in cash and prizes are awarded to the winners.
