It's the most wonderful time of the year and to help you enjoy the season, we've rounded up some of the best places to see Christmas light displays in Jackson and surrounding areas.
This year some favorites such as the Richardson Light Show in Madison have decided to cancel their shows.
But, no matter where you live in the Jackson area, there is a Christmas display near you.
Below is a list of light displays this season.
Magic of Lights-Brandon
The City of Brandon will host this years annual Magic of Lights drive-through light show the Brandon Amphitheater with the theme "All New Holiday Village."
When: Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Dec. 31
Where: Brandon Amphitheater, 8190 Rock Way, Brandon
Admission: Nov. 17-Dec. 7 Monday-Thursday: $25; Fri-Sun: $30; Dec. 8 - Dec. 31 Monday-Thursday: $30; Friday-Sunday: $35

Capital City Lights
The third annual Capital City Lights is returns Dec. 1 this year, presented by Visit Jackson, the event features family-friendly activities, shopping, tours and Christmas lights at the Governor's Mansion and other downtown locations.
When: Friday, Dec. 1
Where: Downtown Jackson
Admission: Free
Time: 4 p.m.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony — Byram
The City of Byram will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony with a live performance by Byram Middle school choir.
When: Thursday, Nov. 30
Where: 6758 Siwell Rd., Byram
Admission: Free
Time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Chautauqua Christmas Light Show
South of Jackson in the town of Crystal Springs you'll find the Chautauqua Christmas Light Show. Located in Chautauqua Park, viewers can drive through and admire over 100 displays and more than 10,000 lights around the park's lake.
When: Friday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Dec. 31
Where: Chautauqua Park, 26031 U.S. 51, Crystal Springs
Time: 6-9 p.m.
Indian Pines Lane Christmas Display
Held in his front yard every year, John Rowe and his family have created a neighborhood tradition for almost 30 years with a Christmas display for all who drive by to view.
"My wife started this Christmas tradition when our daughters were one and five years old and we do it every year as a community severe just to bring some Christmas happiness to the neighborhood," John Rowe said.
The Rowe Family will also be featured on this year's 11th season of ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" show to compete with other families.

Time: 6 p.m.
Canton Christmas Festival
The Canton Christmas Festival and the City of Lights returns this year kicking off the events with a four-story LED Christmas tree and 18-foot walkthrough gift box. There will also be a carousel, children's rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, appearances by Santa, shopping and dining.
When: Friday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 26, and will reopen Friday, Dec. 1, through Saturday, Dec. 23.

Singing Christmas Tree at Belhaven University
The annual performance of the Belhaven University's Singing Christmas Tree will celebrate 91 years of the annual tradition. The tree is made of a metal and wood structure and holds over 100 choir singers.
When: Friday, Dec. 1 through Saturday, Dec. 2
Where: Belhaven Bowl Stadium, 1500 Peachtree St., Jackson

Time: 7:30 p.m.
