Check your drawers! 3 winning Powerball tickets sold in Massachusetts to expire if unclaimed

Three winning Powerball tickets that were sold in the Bay State last year will expire if they go unclaimed, Massachusetts Lottery officials announced this week.

Each of the three tickets were sold at local stores in April 2022 and have prizes worth $50,000. They are now nearing expiration.

The tickets won by matching four out of five numbers, plus the Powerball:

  • April 2, 2022, drawing -- ticket sold at M & M Market on Lincoln Street in Worcester -- winning #s 06-28-47-58-59, 18

  • April 16, 2022, drawing -- ticket sold at Honey Farms on Main Street in Rutland -- winning #s 15-21-32-62-65, 26

  • April 30, 2022, drawing -- ticket sold at Cumberland Farms on Kelly Boulevard in North Attleboro -- winning #s 14-21-37-44-63, 01

Powerball prize winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. Lottery prizes that expire become part of the net profit that the Mass Lottery returns to the Commonwealth for distribution to all 351 cities and towns.

Prizes up to $103,000 can be claimed at Massachusetts Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester.
