Check our interactive map to find your Ada County voting location for Tuesday’s election

Tuesday signals a big day for the Treasure Valley and those who care about it as the polls open for numerous local races.

Voters will decide on the next mayor for six Ada and Canyon County cities, including Boise and Meridian. There are also multiple city council seats up for grabs and school board trustee contests. Ada County residents will also vote on a ballot measure to decide whether the county should take on the debt to pay for a $71.6 million jail expansion.

A little under 300,000 people have registered to vote in Ada County — over half of the county’s population — while approximately 110,000 people have registered in Canyon County, a little under half the county’s population.

Can I still register to vote?

The deadline to register to vote online for the Nov. 7 election has already passed. However, voters can still register to vote at their precinct polling location from 8 a.m. to when the polls close at 8 p.m.

Residents who plan to register on Election Day can do so at their polling location with a valid photo identification, proof of Ada County residency, and a state ID number or the last four digits of their Social Security number.

Residents can also check if they’re already registered to vote, as well as their nearest polling location, on the Idaho Secretary of State’s website.

Where do I vote?

The Idaho Statesman has compiled all the polling locations into a single map so you can search your address and see your nearest polling locations.

Both Ada and County Counties also offer interactive maps that allow users to input their address and find their nearest polling location.
