Check out these Leap Day, Leap Year discounts and freebies that won't return until 2028
Leap days are special for a few reasons, including finally celebrating the birthdays of Leaplings (those born on Leap Day), an extra day of winter and, of course, all the Leap Day discounts.
Whether you were born on Feb. 29 or not, plenty of businesses offer unique Leap Day deals that only come around once every four years.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings
Patrons with a Leap Day birthday can get 20 percent off their birthday meal at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings on Feb. 29.
The offer is valid for dine-in only and guests must show their ID to receive the maximum discount of $20 off.
Build-A-Bear Workshop

Customers of any age celebrating a Leap Day birthday can get a Build-A-Bear birthday treat bear for only $4. The offer is available in-store on Feb. 29.
Burger King
According to Burger King, Leap Day birthdays are fit for a king, and all Leap Day purchases should be rewarded favorably.
On Feb. 29, members of the restaurant’s Royal Perks rewards program can receive 4x the points (known as Crowns) on up to three orders that are placed in the app or online.
Through March 1, Burger King offers customers a free Whopper or Impossible Whopper from Burger King with a $3 or more purchase in the BK app.
Chipotle
Chipotle reward members can score big this Leap Day by earning free guacamole when placing an order on the restaurant’s website or app with the code “EXTRA24.”
Chuck E. Cheese
Children under 52 inches tall who visit Chuck E. Cheese locations with Trampoline Zones will get free All-Day Jump Passes to enjoy for as long as they like.
Dunkin’
On Feb. 29, Dunkin’ will celebrate Leap Day by offering rewards members 4x the points on purchases and a $2 medium cinnamon vanilla coffee.

Hardees
Customers can get 29 percent off an order made in the Hardee’s My Rewards app on Feb. 29. The discount does not apply in-restaurant.
A minimum $1 purchase (before taxes, fees and other discounts) and a maximum $29 discount applies. Only one offer can be used per registered user per order, and it cannot be combined with other offers.
Hooters
Hooters is giving HootClub Rewards loyalty members with the app downloaded and a Hooters location favorited an automatic reward to redeem for one select appetizer for $2.29 per loyalty account.
The appetizers offered in the promotion include fried pickles, lots-a-tots, cheese sticks, chips and queso, cheese and pretzels or an order of 12 buffalo shrimp.
Guests dining in can take advantage of $2.29 Corona Extra beer and participate in an opportunity to win a trip to the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from April 5 to April 7.
To activate the reward, press the orange “redeem” button on the reward and tell a Hooters Girl the 7-digit number that appears. To redeem the reward online, select “redeem offer” on the payment screen.
Insomnia Cookies
From Feb. 26 to March 3, Insomnia Cookies is offering customers one free classic cookie when they purchase any pack of six or a dozen cookies.
Those with Leap Day birthdays will get six free classic cookies in-store on Feb. 29 when they show their ID.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme customers can get an original glazed dozen donuts for only $2.29 with the purchase of a regularly priced dozen on Feb. 29.
If you have a Leap Day birthday, you can also get a free original glazed dozen (no purchase required) when you show your ID.
McDonald’s
McDonald’s is offering a double cheeseburger deal in the app at participating locations on Feb. 29.
Perdue Farms
Need to stock up on kitchen staples? Perdue Farms is offering 29 percent of orders when you spend on $99 or more on their website from Feb. 22 through Feb. 29 using the code “Leap29.”

PLAY
If you’re itching for a trip out of town, Icelandic airline, Play, has a Leap Day deal offering $99 flights to Iceland and $129 flights to Paris, London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Berlin.
The deal includes the airline’s Basic Bundle, which is a budget travel option with a small personal item included in the discounted fare.
The deal runs from Feb. 29 through the end of the day on March 1.
Staples
Before you cash in on any international airfare deals, make sure you’ve got your passport in working order.
If you don’t, Staples is offering free passport photos to 29,000 people.
To redeem the offer, join Staples’ Easy Rewards Program and download the app to claim the free passport photo offer on Feb. 29. You’ll also be eligible to earn 29x the points when you spend $29 or more in-store or online.
Starbucks
Select Starbucks accounts will have a BOGO leap year deal available, which offers a free handcrafted drink when you buy one, or a handcrafted drink for $3.
The offers will be valid until March 3.
Taco Bell
Taco Bell Rewards Members can get a Crunchwrap for $2.29 when ordering in the app on Feb. 29.
The Greene Turtle
The Greene Turtle is offering 29-cent wings of any flavor and $2.29 domestic pints all day long on Feb. 29 for dine-in customers.
The deal cannot be combined with other offers and there is a limit of 20 wings per customer.
Wendy’s
Wendy’s is offering free Cinnabon Pull-Aparts, a new collaboration between Wendy’s and Cinnabon, on Feb. 29 during breakfast hours.
To take advantage of the deal, order in the restaurant, in the Wendy’s app or online. Customers are limited to one offer per transaction at the drive-thru or in-restaurant and cannot take advantage of the offer through third-party apps.
