Saturday, Jan. 14, The Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Co-Headlining Tour w/Miss Tess and Sarah Borges:Sarah Borges connects with casual mastery, whether it’s with the comrades she’s collaborated with over nearly 20 sparkling years of music-making, or the vivid portraits of people’s lives – and occasionally her own – she’s sketched in scores of emotionally resonant songs. Miss Tess is swinging for the fences and from the branches of jazz, country, blues, and old-school rock and roll, she has employed all of her influences and talents on a tour-de-force, while cleverly taking standard perspectives and ideas, like the definition of a love song, to task.

Friday, Jan. 20, Neal and the Vipers & Professor Louie and the Crowmatix: Neal and the Vipers are a Rhode Island-based band who play American roots music encompassing blues, rock & roll, rockabilly, and surf. Professor Louie is a seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist, and versatile multi-instrumentalist.

Friday, Jan. 27, Pearly Baker Band: For the past 37 years, Pearly Baker Band has been playing Grateful Dead music their way, with some Stones, Beatles, Allman Bros, and JJ Cale thrown in for good measure.

Saturday, Jan. 28, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish: Formed in 1991, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish has evolved through many incarnations, three Tone Cool and two self-produced CDs, trips around the world as far as South Africa, and mostly the joys of playing a lot of music on Martha's Vineyard where most of them live.

The art gallery exhibitions are:

Nov. 12, 2022 through Jan. 14, 2023, “The Apple Tree on the Abandoned Railroad Line”: The artist couple, Elin Noble and Lasse Antonsen had a residency in September 2018 in Denmark. While there, they discovered an apple tree on an abandoned railroad line and began to dye cloth with the apple leaves, apple tree bark, and the apples themselves. They arranged this work into wall hangings inspired by traditional Korean Bojagi, a patchwork style created from fragments of cloth.

The “Backyard Birds and Blooms - The Sequel” gallery exhibition will be at the Narrows from Dec. 27, 2022 through Feb. 4, 2023.

Dec. 27, 2022 through Feb. 4, 2023, “Backyard Birds and Blooms - The Sequel”: Backyard Birds and Blooms – The Sequel is a continuum to last year’s wonderfully received exhibition by Vania Noverça. These additional completed paintings of the live demonstrations celebrate the world around us, from our own backyards to the thickets of our local reservations.
