Check out one of these 7 corn mazes in or around the Rockford area this fall

It's one thing to solve a maze on a piece of paper. It's another to walk into one and find your way out.

If you are looking for a way to spend an afternoon outdoors with the family, there are several corn and straw mazes in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin to choose from.

Some of the mazes are found on pumpkin patches, which offer additional family activities such as wagon rides, petting zoos, and pumpkin picking.

So, pack up the kids and head to a maze near you.
