Check out this week's additions to the Cincinnati concert calendar

If you were disappointed about the cancellation of the Against the Odds Tour with Blondie and the Damned on Aug. 23 at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center, we have some potentially good news for you. The Damned will still be making an appearance here in Cincinnati, sans Blondie, on Aug. 28 at Bogart's. If you had your heart set on seeing the tour, there are a few shows within driving distance of Cincinnati: Aug. 24 in Nashville, Aug. 26 in Detroit or Aug. 27 in Chicago.

While we are talking '70s punk rock, legendary singer Paul "H.R." Hudson is coming to town. You may remember him as the lead singer of iconic Washington, D.C., band Bad Brains in the 1970s and early 1980s, and as the driving force behind reggae bands Zion Train and Human Rights. You can catch H.R. at Riverfront Live on Aug. 20, where he'll be playing his reggae catalog as well as some Bad Brains reggae and dub with a full backing band.
