The West Nyack All Stars cheer after a pre-game pep talk June 28 during the New York Little League District 18 9 year-old tournament at West Nyack's Joe Medler Field. This is one of several baseball and softball fields at Germonds Park.

The Palisades Center mall in West Nyack. It has plenty of entertainment options in addition to its retail stores and restaurants, including an ice rink, movie theater, comedy club, bowling alley and a rope course.

People filled the sports fields June 29 to watch the Town of Clarkstown's fireworks show at Felix Festa Middle School in West Nyack.

Hadassah Sareno, 5, of New City runs through the hop scotch court she helped draw during the West Nyack Library's chalk art and sidewalk games event July 5. The library holds several special events throughout the year.

Sheridan Ruitin opens the outdoor concert series July 10 in the new gazebo at Hamlet Green Park in West Nyack. The refurbished park will be renamed Hamlet Green and Firefighter Memorial Park in a ceremony Sept. 10.

Clarksville Inn.
Clarksville Inn.

Kevin and Kinge Martin of Stony Point walk through the courtyard after their wedding ceremony July 22 at the 1840 Tavern at the Clarksville Inn in West Nyack. According to a historical marker, the inn was built by Thomas Warner in 1840. It was a center of social life for more than a century and the scene of the farewell balls for recruits during the Civil War.

Aurora Robson's "88% Fuel," made from welded plastic debris, is displayed in the Catherine Konner Sculpture Park at the Rockland Center for the Arts in West Nyack. The center has exhibitions and offers courses for all ages as well as a summer youth camp. The photo was made using a 360-degree camera.

Aidel Tyraneur, owner of Dream Riders Farm in West Nyack, gives a horse riding lesson July 26 to Rafi Gross of Pomona. Spiderman is helping her communicate where Rafi should hold the bridle. The farm offers therapeutic riding lessons, and Tyraneur says her goal is to provide a safe space for riders of all abilities.

The 151-foot water slide was busy on a sunny Saturday July 22 at the Germonds Park pool complex in West Nyack. Besides the main swimming pool there is also a kiddie pool and diving pool.

Water rushes down Buttermilk Falls in West Nyack after a heavy rain July 25. There is a parking lot and marked trails at the Rockland County Park on Clausland Mountain.
