Check out the winners, top finishers in Citrus Coast and TCAA cross country finals

The Citrus Coast League and the Tri-County Athletic Association held its cross country league finals Thursday at Lake Casitas.

Fillmore captured the boys and girls league team titles in the Citrus Coast. Thacher won the boys title and Cate won the the girls title in the TCAA.

Diego Rodriguez of Santa Paula was the Citrus Coast boys individual champion, finishing first in 16 minutes, 47.89 seconds. Tallula Murphree of Malibu won the Citrus Coast girls individual title in 20:12.84.

Diego Escalante of Thacher won the TCAA boys individual title in 16:45.82. Keera Wallace of Foothill Tech won the TCAA girls individual title in 20:56.53.

Fillmore had six of the top-20 finishers to win the CCL boys title with 49 points. Eduardo Vigil finished third overall in 17:00.82. Angel Garcia was 10th in 17:31.94, Diego Ramirez placed 11th in 17:38.79, Nicholas Hurtado took 12th in 17:55.61, Josh Estrada was 13th in 17:57.15, and Angel Laureano placed 20th in 18:24.58 for the Flashes.

Joel de Lira of Carpinteria was second in 16:53.34. Edward Perez of Hueneme finished fourth in 17:08.49. Satchel Reid of Malibu was fifth in 17:11.37. Edgardo Santiago Gayton of Channel Islands took sixth in 17:13.34. Dylan Blacker of Nordhoff placed seventh in 17:15.59. Uriel Texis of Channel Islands was eighth in 17:15.60. Ranger Murphree of Malibu finished ninth in 17:18.75.

Other top-20 finishers were: Pope Oy of Hueneme (14th, 18:02.69); Reyes Gonzales of Santa Paula (15th, 18:07.66); Hugo Alvarado of Carpinteria (16th, 18:09.97); Jose Ruiz of Channel Islands (17th, 18:16.43); Marvin Lujano of Carpinteria (18th, 18:19.78); and Anthony Valdovinos of Santa Paula (19th, 18:20.86).

Channel Islands finished second as a team with 87 points and Santa Paula was third with 89. Carpinteria was fourth with 94, Nordhoff was fifth with 105, Hueneme was sixth with 121, and Malibu was seventh with 126.

Fillmore finished with seven top-20 finishers to win the CCL girls team title with 31 points. Niza Laureano was fourth overall in 20:41.13, Nataly Vigil took fifth in 20:59.20 and Andrea Laureano placed sixth in 21:18.35. Alexandra Martinez was ninth in 21:49.89, Leah Barragan took 12th in 22:12.60, Diana Santa Rosa placed 13th in 22:23.62, and Monique Hurtado finished 17th in 23:13.69 for the Flashes.

Lindsey Ramirez of Santa Paula was second overall in 20:27.25 and teammate Miahanna Galvan placed third in 20:40.14. Crystal Ramirez of Nordhoff was seventh in 21:34.31. Belen Herrera of Carpinteria took eighth in 21:37.32. Maddison Duenas of Nordhoff was 10th in 22:01.98.

Other top-20 finishers were: Jacaranda Shepard of Nordhoff (11th, 22:10.54); Maguire Casey of Nordhoff (14th, 22:29.81); Daisy Sanchez of Channel Islands (15th, 22:30.00); Magaly Dominguez of Hueneme (16th, 22:32.12); Whitney Shanahan of Malibu (18th, 23:19.30); Marlene Perez of Channel Islands (19th, 23:22.86); and Angelina Rodriguez of Nordhoff (20th, 23:35.68).

Nordhoff took second in the team standings with 56. points. Channel Islands and Santa Paula tied for third with 93. Carpinteria was fifth with 121 and Hueneme was sixth with 155.

Led by Escalante's individual title, Thacher had five of the top-20 finishers to win the TCAA boys team title with 43 points. Nico Dilullo was fourth in 17:34.61, Mateo Escalante placed seventh in 18:01.13, Lucas de Clercq took 15th in 18:37.12, and Jeremy Bywater finished 16th in 18:40.37 for the Toads.

Everest Schipper of Cate took second in 17:16.39, Cate's Sebastian Sutch was third in 17:16.39, and Cate's Harry McAdam placed fifth in 17:53.78. Baker Carlisle of Foothill Tech finished sixth in 17:59.61. Mateo Escalante of Thacher took seventh in 18:01.13. Eli Billings of Foothill Tech was eighth in 18:03.73. Mario Partello of St. Bonaventure placed ninth in 18:10.86. Erik de La Trinidad of Foothill Tech was 10th in 18:12.24.

Other top-20 finishers were: Conor White of Foothill Tech (11th, 18:14.24); Brandon Wofford of Foothill Tech (12th, 18:19.46); Kai Bensen of Foothill Tech (13th, 18:24.86); Luis Tototzintle of Santa Clara (14th, 18:31.88); Oliver Lee of Cate (17th, 18:40.50); Caden Fuchs of Cate (18th, 18:41.06); Tanner Murphy of Laguna Blanca (19th, 18:43.29); and Nathan Leedy of Foothill Tech (20th, 18:45.73).

Cate finished second as a team with 45 points and Foothill Technology was third with 47. Dunn was fourth with 120, Laguna Blanca was fifth with 152, St. Bonaventure was sixth with 155, Santa Clara was seventh with 163, and Bishop Diego was eighth with 220.

Cate had seven of the top-20 finishers to win the TCAA girls team title with 22 points. Kendall Thorne was second in 21:05.96, Francesca Sutch finished third in 21:11.57, Lylie Bechtel placed fourth in 21:14.42, Jenevive Won took fifth in 21:22.58, Madeleine Patrick was ninth in 21:54.91, Emily Allison was 11th in 22:14.03, and Coco Kliman was 14th in 22:23.82 for the Rams.

Kiersten Falat of Foothill Tech was sixth in 21:27.82. Kira Rameson of Laguna Blanca placed seventh in 21:38.59. Morgan Conway of La Reina finished eighth in 21:41.68. Lily Clemens of Thacher took 10th in 21:56.38.

Other top-20 finishers were: Caitlyn O'Neil of Foothill Tech (12th, 22:18.31); Ruth Tackett of La Reina (13th, 22:21.73); Annikka Zhou of Thacher (15th, 22:29.62); Ava Loper-Benson of Dunn (16th, 22:33.86); Isabella Efner of Foothill Tech (17th, 22:55.02); Jane Kim of Foothill Tech (18th, 22:55.71); Carina Ziesk of Foothill Tech (19th, 23:03.42); and Victoire Heliot of St. Bonaventure (20th, 23:29.20).

Foothill Tech finished second as a team with 51 points and La Reina was third with 87. Thacher was fourth with 92, Dunn was fifth with 123, and Bishop Diego was sixth with 151.
