Cheerios Has a New Cinnamon Cereal to Add a Cozy Flavor to Your Bowl
There’s nothing like a classic bowl of Cheerios. Even so, we would never snub one of its flavored cereals. Have you tried General Mills’ Blueberry or Toasted Coconut Cheerios? While you put those on your list, there’s a brand-new one that has just hit shelves.
Say hello to Cinnamon Cheerios! The cereal is made of sweetened whole grain oat cereal and real cinnamon. Sounds pretty warm and toasty, right? Yes, these are different from Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and Cheerios Oat Crunch Cinnamon, which are made with cereal and whole oat pieces.
The gluten-free Cinnamon Cheerios will be available in select stores beginning in April 2020. It’ll be more widely available in June 2020, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. The suggested retail price is $4.79 for the large size and $4.99 for the family-size.
In addition to the new cereal, General Mills has also brought back Banana Nut Cheerios. For a limited time (from now through May 2020, to be exact), you’ll be able to find the cereal filled with real banana puree and cinnamon back on shelves. It’s available nationwide in midsize boxes for $3.99.
With all this Cheerios talk, we can’t possibly be the only ones craving a giant bowl of cereal, right? Get your bowl out, because we have officially declared it snack time o’clock.
