Say cheese, again: Society photographer reprises 'Take Your Picture' fundraiser

Such a clever way to cut down on paper clutter, this.

Photographer Annie Watt reprised last year's wildly successful name-your-price sale of a season's worth of society portraits, all to benefit charity.

The second annual “Impromptu Portraits: One Night Only” reception, hosted by Andrew and Sarah Wettenhall, Robert Caravaggi, Eleanora Kennedy, George and Christine Schott Ledes, and the Viner family, took place April 19 at The Colony.

The evening included champagne, hors d'oeuvres, and the chance to purchase any of this season's 600 society portraits and candids taken by Annie and her crew.

"Throughout the season, I photograph people attending fund-raisers and charity events," Annie said. "This spring show was a natural extension. Everyone who was invited to the event has their portrait in the show."

Guests were encouraged to “Take Your Photo” in exchange for a donation to the Eda and Cliff Viner Scholars program

More than 200 people attended.
