Cooking at home will be more fun — and less work — with the new LʼOstrica chef’s market opening this summer in Charlotte’s Madison Park.
Don’t want to cook at all? Beginning in the fall, you’ll be able to dine in at the restaurant with a multi-course, seasonally inspired tasting menu.
About the market
LʼOstrica’s Chef’s Market will offer in-house made:
Fresh pastas
Sauces
Snacks
Salads
Dips
Soups
Sandwiches
Sweets.
Also:
Retail wine
Non-alcoholic beverages.
On Saturdays, you’ll be able to visit the market to pick up produce from local farms, participate in wine tastings, chef demos, events and more.
About the restaurant
LʼOstrica’s restaurant will feature:
Wednesday-Saturday tasting menus with 8-10 courses, created from seasonally available ingredients.
A baseline of French technique with Italian, Korean and Japanese influences, along with other cooking styles.
Wines by the bottle and wine pairings; and
Cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs.
The restaurant will have an open kitchen and both indoor and patio seating available. Reservations will be required through Tock. A few walk-in seats will be available at the bar.
“We’re very excited to be bringing our deeply personal vision to life and to be adding to the city’s growing culinary scene at the same time,” owners Eric Ferguson and Cat Carter said in a statement. “We share a genuine enthusiasm for cooking and hospitality and look forward to serving guests in our new space.”
