  • Honoring 70 years of the Corvette, Chevy adds the 70th Anniversary Edition to the options list for 2023 models.

  • Chevrolet launched its flagship sports car in 1953 with a severely limited production.

  • The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition package is available on 3LT-equipped Corvettes or Z06 models.

Approaching its 70th birthday, Chevrolet isn’t giving its flagship sports car a gold watch and a retirement party. Instead, highlighting its wildly popular latest generation, Chevy is rolling out a 70th Anniversary edition to honor the milestone. Not exactly the rumored hybrid Corvette, the special-edition model does add some extra content for Corvette fans to fawn over.

Similar to the other C8 special editions, this 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition is limited to just a pair of colors: white pearl metallic tri-coat or carbon flash metallic. Stripes are available, too, if you want to add some extra flair: satin grey stripes are available on the white cars and satin black on the black. The exterior finish is paired with a two-tone interior that features red accents throughout.

It wouldn’t be a special edition without extra badging, either. The 70th Anniversary Edition ‘Vettes sport special 70th Anniversary badges as well as special Corvette flag emblems. The 70th Anniversary logo is also plastered on the seats and the custom luggage set. Edge red brake calipers, an engine cover, and wheel accent round out the package.

The special-edition package will make its way to the top-dog 3LT and Z06-spec Corvettes later this year. Even if you don’t opt for the whole package, every 2023 Chevrolet Corvette will see an interior plaque commemorating the ‘Vette’s 70th birthday. Price will be revealed closer to the car’s launch date later this year, but you can buy the first example at this year’s Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale sale on January 29th.
