Chevy Chase to appear in Wilkes-Barre for screening of 'Christmas Vacation'

Sep. 28—WILKES-BARRE — Comedy star Chevy Chase is coming to the F.M. Kirby Center Sunday, Dec. 17 with a screening of the holiday classic "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," followed by an in-person Q&A.

Chevy and his wife Jayni will share their behind-the-scenes stories and personal anecdotes about the making of a beloved movie that has become a Christmas tradition.

Chase was an original cast member of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and "Community." His films also include "Fletch" and "Caddyshack."

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and kirbycenter.org. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Kirby Center box office or by calling 570-826-1100.

The presale for F.M. Kirby Members began on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices are $40, $66 and $100 plus fees.

VIP packages, which include premium seating and a photo op with Chase are $150 and $250 plus fees.
