Chevy introduces updated Equinox

Chevy is bringing a new version of the Equinox to the most competitive segment in the industry. To help set it apart from the competition, Chevy has included a host of new technical improvements in its next-generation model.

“The 2025 Equinox brings to one of our most important nameplates bodylines and proportions inspired by our brand’s truck DNA, also adopted in the upcoming Traverse,” said Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet. “It also builds on the core strengths that have earned Equinox tremendous customer loyalty over the past two decades, and made it the second-best seller in our lineup, after Silverado.”

The Equinox was the last of Chevy’s major SUV and crossover options to get a facelift, and the company says the refreshed compact SUV will offer more choices to consumers than ever before.

This included a special outdoor-inspired trim package to help take on competition from similar offerings from brands like Jeep and Toyota.

An updated exterior across all trim platforms promises to bring a more modern appeal. Safety features, like camera alert systems and adaptive cruise control, have been embedded into the design and come standard across all trims.

A refreshed interior includes the newest technology features, like a new shifting column that frees up storage space in the center console, and front seats that come standard with heating.
