Chicago cuts off vaccine supply to CPS provider

Vaccine distribution to Innovative Express Care has been stopped after the clinic "knowingly misallocated" 6,000 doses of vaccines meant for Chicago Public Schools employees, city health officials say.

- Thank you. And now breaking news tonight. Chicago's public health department has stopped distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to Innovative Express Care, which was going to administer the vaccine to Chicago public school employees. Officials are saying that Innovative Express Care knowingly misallocated more than 6,000 doses of the vaccine. So the city has now found a new provider to administer the vaccine. But Chicago public school personnel, the ones who had appointments to be vaccinated tomorrow, will now be rescheduled. We have much more about this story tonight on our news at 6:00.
