ANCHORWOMAN: Now to an Eagle Scout on a mission to help those in need. Nicholas Brown is a senior at Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy. He's collecting school supplies to give to the less fortunate. The 17-year-old Eagle Scout from Troop 609 has a total of 50 merit badges to his credit. He organized a supply drive as part of an Eagle Scout project. He's been involved with the organization from a very young age. His goal is to collect everything a student would need, ranging from notebooks to art supplies. Anyone wanting to drop off supplies can go to the Morgan Park Presbyterian Church parking lot, located at 2017 West 110th Place in Chicago from 2:00 this afternoon until 5:00, and on Monday from 5:30 in the afternoon until 8:30 in the evening. And for those who cannot make the drop-off times, Nicholas is also arranging to pick up donations from Tuesday through Friday. We're going to have the contact information on our website at CBSChicago.com a little later on this morning. The supplies will be given out at an upcoming back-to-school event at Sweet Holy Spirit Church on the city's South Side.
