Good morning to you. Yes, It's soon going to be very, very busy around the Wrigley Field and it's not just about tomorrow's home opener here at Wrigley.

This morning, a day before the Cubs' home opener, word that Chicago residents will soon be able to get vaccinated at a conference center next to the friendly confines.

In a neighborhood of, you know, young people who are active and out there, yeah I feel good about it.

The Wrigley Field location opens Monday, and so does a new center at Chicago State University on the south side, where a drive-thru option will be available April 12th.

I think it's a huge opportunity for our community. I hope the community will come out and avail itself of this resource. We're going to make it easy for people.

The Chicago state side will administer the one shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Next week, Illinois and Chicago set to receive directly a combined 188,000 J&J doses. That's more than double what we saw this week and a 13-fold increase over last week's deliveries. More vaccine is needed to combat a rise in cases, including a nearly 50% increase in the past week. Among 18 to 39-year-olds in Chicago, two zip codes, especially hit hard-- 60614 and 60610, home to popular bars and restaurants in Lincoln Park and Old Town.

We're very disappointed in those numbers and and really want the city to take action to help chase the disease.

The goal here at that new vaccination site is to administer 2,000 doses daily here.
