Chicago PD star Sophia Bush has filed for divorce from her husband Grant Hughes after one year of marriage.

According to People, the actress has filed for divorce after 13 months of marriage, with the news coming just weeks after Bush shared a post on social media to celebrate their first anniversary. The actress has since removed any posts and references to her estranged husband from her social media accounts.

Bush and Grant got engaged in 2021 during a trip to Lake Como before tying the knot a year later in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She continued: "After weeks of being intermittently pulled off stage, visiting multiple doctors and spending a night in the Emergency Room, I've been advised by expert healthcare specialists that I needed to end my time on stage and be under the care of my doctors at home in the US.

"I know that Frankie Bridge will be astounding as she makes Lauren her own through the rest of this run. There is no greater experience than the stage. I miss it madly. I love it deeply. And I cannot wait for the next one."

2:22 A Ghost Story is playing at London's Apollo Theatre until September 17. Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med air on NBC and Peacock in the US, and on Sky Witness in the UK.
