Chicago PD's Benjamin Levy Aguilar shares hopes for season 11

Chicago PD star Benjamin Levy Aguilar has spoken about his hopes for the next season of the show after the "intense" season 10 finale.
The latest episode of the show (season 10, episode 21, 'New Life') focused on Aguilar's character Officer Dante Torres as he became wrapped up in a murder case involving his childhood friends.
Fans have not learned much about Torres' mysterious past, though the season 10 finale showcased some of his dark secrets when he found the body of Ariza, a major drug dealer from the area he grew up in.

When the Intelligence Unit receives a tip-off about the officer's dark past, Torres confides in his team that Ariza recruited him as a teenager to be his enforcer once he left a juvenile detention centre.
Following the explosive episode, Aguilar has said he would like a "happy" season 11 for his character as a change.
"I'd like to explore happy moments for Torres! More of his past: there's so much more, and I would love to experience that," he told Hello! magazine.
The actor also opened up on completing his first full season with the show, and his thoughts on feeling like a newbie on set: "I think it's going to take a lot to catch up, because they've just been doing this for so long and I'm just younger so it's always going to feel that way.

"But I do feel so comfortable there, and in what I am doing, I feel established in my character and I love bringing new energy."
An eleventh season of the popular One Chicago show has been announced, though we do not yet have a release date. Speaking about the renewal, creator Dick Wolf said he was "pleased" to continue his "four-decade relationship" with Universal Television and NBC.
He continued: "All six shows [including the Law & Order franchise] being picked up again is the ultimate accolade to our incredible casts, producers, and writers. I'd also like to thank our loyal fans who have kept our NBC shows on the air for what will be a cumulative 84 seasons."
