Chicago Philharmonic will present Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ live in concert in June

The Chicago Philharmonic announced on Friday that it will perform Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar-winning score for Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” live to picture for the first time, giving audiences the chance to relive T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) becoming king and battling Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan.)

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther in Concert — Chicago Philharmonic” will be on June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at The Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State St.; tickets range from $79.50 to $129.50 on ticketmaster.com. Chicago Philharmonic patrons have presale access Monday, while the general public will get access to tickets Tuesday.
