CHICAGO (Reuters) - Chicago plans to submit a formal bid asking Amazon.com Inc to open its second headquarters in the city, officials told Reuters on Thursday. Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce company, said earlier in the day that it would build a $5 billion second headquarters in North America, kicking off a competition between cities and states to offer incentives and tax cuts that could bring 50,000 new jobs.
