Two 28-year-old men were fatally shot Sunday morning and detectives are investigating the West Side double homicide.
About 6 a.m. officers were called to the 2300 block of South Kolin Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood after the city’s gunshot detection system reported shots fired. According to a police statement, officers discovered two men inside the vehicle who were unresponsive, each with apparent gunshot wounds to the head and body.
Investigators said the men were both 28 but no additional information was released.
No arrests have been made, authorities said.
