Chicago deep-dish pizza chain Lou Malnati's may be coming to Columbus.

Job postings for Lou Malnati's in Columbus have popped up on major job listing sites, prompting excitement on social media from residents craving pies from the Chicago-style pizzeria.

The job postings note the location will open in December of this year with the intention of growing to three or four locations "in the near future." Locations for the restaurants have not been announced.

No one from the chain has commented on the job postings or verified if the company plans to enter the Columbus market.

The family-owned company was founded in 1971 in Lincolnwood, Illinois, and has 75 locations open or coming soon in Illinois, Arizona, Wisconsin and Indiana. The company also ships its Chicago-style pizza internationally.
