Chick-fil-A Is About to Make a Few Major Menu Changes

From The Pioneer Woman

If you're a real Chick-fil-A fan, you probably know the menu like the back of your hand. But the chain is apparently making some changes this spring that will switch things up a bit, including discontinuing some menu items and trimming down the size options on some others.

Chick-fil-A will be taking two items off its menu starting this spring: decaf coffee and bagels, according to Insider. Additionally, they'll be making changes to the sizes available for certain menu items, such as replacing four and six-piece kids' chicken nugget meals with a lone five-piece meal. Insider also reported that milkshake, coffee, and ice cream cone sizes will also be consolidated, but they didn't report what these might be.

"Later this spring, we will remove two items from the national menu, the bagel and decaf hot coffee, as well as consolidate several of our size offerings," Chick-fil-A confirmed in a statement to Delish. "Streamlining our menu will allow for us to continue providing our customers the quality food and service they’ve come to expect, as well as make room for new future menu items."

These changes are expected to go into effect around April 26, but some of these concepts were previously tested, along with other menu changes, in select Charlotte, NC, and Arizona locations in order to make way for the initial test run of the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich (which is now available everywhere!). It seems like making these tweaks to the national menu will make room for even more exciting menu additions, so we're totally in. Fingers crossed!
