Chick-fil-A In Riverview Announces Opening Day

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — As Riverview residents have lived in anticipation of Chick-fil-A's final opening in the area, the company announced Thursday is its official opening day.

Keeping guests and team members safe from coronavirus is a priority of the establishment's, the chain said.

Before the Riverview location can open its indoor dining area to customers, management will take additional time to review operations and ensure the necessary precautions are in place for everyone's protection.

In the meantime, its Riverview location will open for drive-thru, mobile curbside and third-party delivery service after opening day, the franchise said.

The drive-thru plans to have two drive-thru lanes to decrease wait time for orders.

Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the mobile app, staff members said.

Riverview resident, Gabe Porrata, who spent many years as a Chick-fil-A team member is the franchise owner. Porrata also opened the Lakeland Square Chick-fil-A located in 2017.

In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Riverview will provide free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to 100 local heroes making an impact in the greater Hillsborough County community.
