Chicken Salad Chick unveils new location in Arlington Highlands

If you've got Southern on the mind, you're in luck. Chicken Salad Chick has added a new location at 3900 Arlington Highlands Blvd., Suite 101, in Arlington Highlands. Chicken Salad Chick, which has locations in Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas, specializes in Southern food with a modern twist.
"At the heart of Chicken Salad Chick are all the Chicks who inspire us every day. The named flavors on the menu are named for the real people in [co-founder] Stacy’s life," notes the business' website.
On the menu, expect to see a dozen different chicken salad flavors, ranging from Classic Carol (all white meat, minced celery, mayo and a secret seasoning) to Olivia’s Old South combining sweet pickles and eggs. Grape side salads, pimiento cheese, soups and sweet treats are also available.
Chicken Salad Chick has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Kaicheal H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 16, wrote, "I had the classic carol chicken BLT on wheatberry. For my side, I had the grape salad. Everything was fresh and good. The sandwich could [have] had more chicken salad on it. I had more bread and tomatoes than chicken salad. It was still a good sandwich. The grape salad was everything! The grapes were sweet... will go back to try other flavors!"
Yelper E C. added, "Had the Kickin' Kaelyn sandwich with a scoop of Fancy Nancy and egg salad. Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back to try the other flavors. Great place, great food!"
