Chiefs and Dolphins have very different itineraries this week for game in Frankfurt

The Chiefs and Dolphins will both be at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, but they have very different travel plans.
That goes beyond the obvious that they’ll be flying from different cities in the United States to Germany.
The Dolphins will be in Frankfurt days before the Chiefs, and Miami coach Mike McDaniel wants his team to spend some of that time not thinking about football.
That may not be easy because Frankfurt is ready for the arrival of the NFL, as this photo shows:
Es ist kein Traum, die @NFL kommt wirklich nach Frankfurt! Wir freuen uns auf zwei Spiele und zahlreiche Fan-Events.
Am 5. November treffen die @Chiefs auf die @MiamiDolphins, am 12. November die @Colts
auf die @Patriots. @tdfrankfurt

Here is a closer look at the travel plans for both teams.
The Chiefs
NBC Sports’ Peter King reported the Chiefs will have practices in Kansas City on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon, the Chiefs will board a plane for the “approximately 9 hours and 55 minute” flight to Frankfurt. King said the Chiefs will arrive Friday in mid-morning and “have a light practice at 3:45 p.m. Friday, then have media obligations, then a walk-through Saturday.”
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked Monday on KCSP (610 AM) about the trip.
“It’s my first time going over to Europe or anything like that so I don’t have a lot of insight on it,” Mahomes said. “But I’m excited to go over there and play and have some fun out there.”
The Dolphins
Miami flew out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Monday night and arrived in Frankfurt at 7:26 a.m. Central European Time on Tuesday (1:26 a.m. in KC).

Although McDaniel expects to have only about an hour for himself to check out Frankfurt, he is excited for the bonding experience for his players. They should have time to see the sights on Tuesday, which will be a day off from football activities, King reported.
“There’s so many people that haven’t been to Germany,” McDaniel told reporters Sunday, “and I kind of wanted to get settled and have a post-Tuesday — so Wednesday, Thursday, Friday — that was more routine as well as I didn’t want people — you have a player day off, why don’t you use that to see the sights as opposed to getting there late?
“I was kind of nervous about people trying to cram in sightseeing. I think it provides an opportunity to go as a team, spend time together, spend the player day off together, and further cement some memories for us to hold on to as we progress on this journey with this team. That was kind of my thought process behind it.”
