After the Eagles beat the Chiefs 21-17 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Nov. 20, Philadelphia looked primed to make another Super Bowl run.

The Eagles’ 9-1 record was the best in the NFL, and they had two fewer losses than the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

However, things went south soon after beating the Chiefs. Philadelphia lost six of its next eight games, including Monday night’s 32-9 blowout loss to the Buccaneers in a playoff game in Tampa, Florida.

What happened to the Eagles, who ended the season as a wild-card team? Well, some Chiefs fans pointed to the moment coach Nick Sirianni left the Arrowhead Stadium field following the win over the Chiefs.

A viral video showed him yell, “Hey! I don’t hear (expletive) anymore, Chiefs fans! See yaaaa!”

Here is what Chiefs fans were saying Monday night on X and Reddit about Sirianni.

“About to be 2-6 since then and bounced out of the first round… also potentially unemployed. See ya,” a fan wrote on Reddit.

Another shared this: “They got their revenge and lost all their fire after our game.”

On Reddit, a fan wrote: “fandom aside that was objectively one of the strangest behaviors ive ever seen a human exhibit. the team you lost to in the super bowl and you dont just big celebrate a regular season win, you don’t say something snarky to a coach or player, you go after the fans themselves with full aggression?”

Another shared this: “Something something, Taylor Swift and Karma. Anyway, onto Buffalo!”

“Was highly cathartic watching the Eagles get pegged tonight,” a fan wrote on Reddit.
