The New England Patriots will have a chance to match an NFL record the Chiefs set on Sunday.

With their 21-14 victory over the Dolphins at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, the Chiefs have now won a regular-season NFL game in four different countries.

The Chiefs defeated the Chargers 24-17 in Mexico City in 2019, and KC thumped the Lions 45-10 in London in 2015. And, of course, the Chiefs have won games in the United States.

New England plays the Colts on Sunday in Frankfurt and can tie the Chiefs’ record.

NBC Sports’ Peter King reported that the NFL plans to add a game in either Spain or Brazil next year, and King believes Dublin and Paris could be future hosts.

Oliver Luck, who was president of NFL Europe from 1996-2000, told Front Office Sports that Hamburg, Germany, and Lyon, France are other potential spots for a future NFL game.

While in Frankfurt, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked about the potential of playing a game in Spain.

“I’m up for anything,” Mahomes told reporters. “I’m always excited to get across the world and play football and show American football … to the rest of the world.”

The Chiefs will have nine home games in 2025, and team president Mark Donovan told Front Office Sports, he hopes one of those games again will be in Germany.

“Every year we’re eligible, we’re going to be raising our hand to play. It just makes too much business sense for us.”

In addition to the Chiefs being kings of international football, here are three other stats of note from Sunday’s game, via the team.

1. Kelce is No. 1

Tight end Travis Kelce had just 14 receiving yards but it was enough to boost his career total to 10,941 receiving yards. That’s 1 yard more than Tony Gonzalez in franchise history.

Here are the players with the most receiving yards in franchise history, via the Chiefs.

1. 10,941, Travis Kelce (2013-23)

2. 10,940, Tony Gonzalez (1997-08)

3. 7,306, Otis Taylor (1965-75)

4. 7,155, Dwayne Bowe (2007-14)

2. Reid ties Stram

Sunday’s victory was coach Andy Reid’s 124th in the regular season with the Chiefs. That tied him with Hank Stram.

The Chiefs noted Reid (Eagles and Chiefs) joined Dan Reeves (Broncos and Falcons), Tom Coughlin (Jaguars and Giants) and Tony Dungy (Buccaneers and Colts) as the only four coaches to rank in the top two in all-time wins for two different NFL franchises.

Here are the coaches with the most victories in Chiefs history.

1 (tie). 124, Hank Stram and Andy Reid

3. 101, Marty Schottenheimer

4. 44, Dick Vermeil

5. 31, Marv Levy

3. First-half shutout

The Chiefs kept the high-flying Dolphins off the scoreboard in the first half, and it was the third time this season KC’s defense has held an opponent scoreless in the opening half of a game.

With the victory, the Chiefs have now won 16 straight games when holding an opponent scoreless through the first half, the team said.

Here are the times the Chiefs have held a foe without a point in the first 30 minutes of a game this season and the final score.

Sept. 24: Beat Chicago 41-10

Oct. 12: Beat the Broncos 19-8

Sunday: Beat the Dolphins 21-14
