Chiefs’ name and logo have replaced Raiders in Allegiant Stadium end zone

At one end of Allegiant Stadium is the Al Davis Memorial Torch and below that is an end zone with the words Las Vegas. The other end zone has the word Raiders.

Both are in silver and black.

But it won’t look that way for Super Bowl LVIII. The Raiders’ home stadium is being transformed for the big game between the Chiefs and 49ers. That means the end zones are being painted with new colors.

The Chiefs’ name and logo have replaced the Raiders team name, and as has been the case in past Super Bowls, the end zone is painted gold.

While the Chiefs and 49ers will wear the same uniform combination as in Super Bowl LIV and have the same referee working the game, there will be a couple of differences on the field.

First, the logo at midfield will be the NFL shield. Four years ago, it was the NFL’s 100th year logo.

The other difference will be the 49ers end zone as the Random 49ers X account noted.

“It’s still red with the saloon font, but the oval SF logo will be used instead of the helmet,” that account noted.

The Chiefs will be using the Raiders’ training facility in Henderson, Nevada. And come Super Bowl Sunday, the Chiefs will be using the Raiders’ locker room.
