Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was in Hawaii over the weekend where he took part in quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ annual charity golf event.

NFL Network reporter Steve Wyche caught up with the Chiefs stars and the topic wasn’t football.

Mahomes and Kelce both talked some trash ahead of Thursday’s “The Match” event against Golden State Warriors stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

“I scheduled it perfect timing,” Mahomes said of his charity event. “I wanted to make sure I had a tournament-type atmosphere as kind of a tournament before ‘The Match’ and I’m going to go win this one first and then I’m gonna go beat Steph and Klay with Travis Kelce with me.”

Wyche asked which player was the weak link among the four star professional athletes.

“It’s not my guy. It’s not my guy,” Mahomes repeated. “Sorry, Klay, I think it’s you. It’s nothing personal. But I think Travis is ready to roll.”

Wyche asked Kelce what message he might have for the Warriors stars.

“The message right now is we’ve never lost in Vegas,” Kelce said. “As a team we beat everybody at Justin Timberlake’s golf tournament (last year), and then obviously the Raiders. We haven’t lost to the Raiders yet.

“And I don’t even want to say yet, we’ve just never lost in Vegas, so that’s the bottom line.”

There was no word on who took first in Mahomes’ charity golf event, but we know who won off the course. It was Kelce, simply because of this dance.
