Chiefs at Raiders among most expensive games to attend in 2021

If you’re looking to travel to see the Kansas City Chiefs take on one of their division rivals in 2021, it might cost you a pretty penny.

With the NFL’s schedule reveal on Wednesday evening, teams have now started selling tickets for the upcoming season. Chiefs tickets have steadily been on the rise since the arrival of star QB Patrick Mahomes. This season, tickets at Arrowhead Stadium are among the most expensive on the secondary market.

According to Jesse Lawrence of TicketIQ, the average price for a Chiefs ticket on the secondary market falls at just under $150 dollars. That’s good for the sixth-most expensive team in the league. You won’t be spending the most money to see the Chiefs play at home, though. The most expensive ticket for a Chiefs game comes on the road. That’ll happen in Week 10 when the Chiefs face the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on “Sunday Night Football.”

The cheapest ticket you can currently find for the Week 10 game between the Chiefs and Raiders is $673 dollars. That’s good for the third-most expensive game of the season per TicketIQ’s data. The only games that are more expensive are Tom Brady’s return to New England and the Ravens’ trip to Las Vegas in Week 1.

The Raiders far and away have the most expensive tickets on the secondary market. They built the brand new Allegiant Stadium and debuted there in 2020, but fans weren’t allowed in the stadium due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s helping to drive the prices of tickets through the roof, with their cheapest ticket averaging just under $400 dollars at the moment.
