After Taylor Swift first appeared at a Sept. 24 Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on Travis Kelce, seats at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – already a hot ticket – only got hotter.

Within days, ticket reseller StubHub reported a nearly three-fold increase in ticket sales and ticket searches for home games.

Now that Swift has become virtually a regular at Arrowhead, what has happened to prices for the rest of the season?

With four games at Arrowhead Stadium remaining in the regular season, ticket prices have continued to rise at sellers such as Ticketmaster, StubHub and Overland Park-based Tickets For Less.

Part of it could be ongoing public interest in the celebrity couple. But the Chiefs are also riding a six-game winning streak, heading for a Super Bowl rematch and playing against conference and division rivals.

The Chiefs have home games against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20, the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 10, the Las Vegas Raiders on Dec. 25 and the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 31.

How much might Swift’s possible presence at any game factor into the price of a ticket? It depends on the game.

Swift’s international Eras tour runs on the weekends through Nov. 9-26 with stops in Argentina and Brazil. That means she is not likely to appear on Nov. 20.

But after that she has a two-month break before heading to Japan in February. That appears to leave the door open for her to catch a game in December.

“While we all would love to believe that the increase in the remaining games can be attributed to Taylor, we must give our Chiefs some credit,” said Angela Presnell, senior vice president of marketing and retail at Tickets for Less.

“Having the best record in the AFC, we would expect prices to increase throughout the season even without Taylor.”

The only game since Swift’s first appearance that saw a decrease in ticket prices was the Oct. 12 contest with the Denver Broncos, Presnell said, likely because it wasn’t expected to be competitive.

Here’s what you can expect to pay for tickets to an upcoming home game through Ticketmaster or other resale ticket sites.

Nov. 20: Philadelphia Eagles

Ticketmaster shows that for the next game at Arrowhead against Swift’s favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Nov. 20, prices start at $280 for one verified resale ticket in the upper level.

One verified Chiefs ticket costs $275, then prices jump to $385 in the same level. Prices only get higher as you move closer to the field. Note that these prices are before Ticketmaster fees.

The cheapest ticket on Tickets For Less goes for $425 in the upper level. No fees are added to this price, as Tickets for Less says the price you see is what you pay.

The resale ticket site said it has seen a 3.1% price increase for this game post-Taylor.

Prices on resale ticket site StubHub start at $288 in the upper level for one ticket, before fees.

Dec. 10: Buffalo Bills

Ticket prices for the game against defending AFC East champion Buffalo Bills start at $270 for a verified resale ticket and $295 for a verified ticket, both in the upper level on Ticketmaster.

It’s a matchup of two teams expected to make the playoffs.

Tickets For Less said it has seen a 7.5% increase in prices since Swift’s arrival, with prices now at $279 for a single ticket in the upper level.

StubHub tickets cost $246 for a seat in the upper level.

Dec. 25: Las Vegas Raiders

The Christmas clash against AFC West division rival Las Vegas Raiders is the cheapest of the bunch.

One verified resale upper-level ticket for this game can be bought for $99 on Ticketmaster. A standard ticket costs $145 for an upper-level seat.

The Star reported in September that standard upper-level seats for this game started at $115 on Ticketmaster.

One upper-level ticket on StubHub goes for $85 and $119 on Tickets For Less, which the resale ticket site says is a 10.9% price increase since Swift appeared.

Dec. 31: Cincinnati Bengals

The final home game of the regular season brings the AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals to town.

The rematch of the 2022 and 2021 AFC Championship games sees prices start at $195 for a verified resale ticket and $250 for a standard ticket, both in the upper level on Ticketmaster.
