Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has received praise for his work on and off the field this year.

Kelce caught a touchdown pass and helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LVII, as he continues to cement his place as one of the best tight ends in the NFL.

In March, Kelce was guest host of “Saturday Night Live,” and the reviews were phenomenal.

This week, Kelce signed with the talent agency, Creative Artists Agency, per the Hollywood Reporter.

“When Travis joined the NFL as a rookie, it was clear to us that he had star potential both on and off the field. We have a shared vision of Travis not only as a transcendent athlete, but also as a media and entertainment powerhouse,” his managers Aaron and André Eanes told the Hollywood Reporter. “We believe the talented CAA team will bring that vision to life and we’re excited to embark on this journey together.”

Kelce told People magazine he hopes to land more acting jobs, largely because he found the “Saturday Night Live” work so rewarding.

“It was an experience that was like nothing else that I’ve ever gone through,” Kelce told People. “I just can’t thank them enough for giving me that opportunity, because I didn’t know I was going to enjoy scripted comedy or that entire entertainment world as much as I did, until I was on a set and going through the week of preparation and stuff like that.”

Kelce added: “So I’m definitely interested (in pursuing more acting projects), but that’s a whole new craft that I feel like I really got to lock in and focus on (before I do).”

As enjoyable as acting has been for the 33-year-old Kelce, his main focus remains on football. That’s why he was at the pass-catchers camp with quarterback Patrick Mahomes that was held in April in Texas.

“We’re ready to get after it,” Kelce said before he hosted Kelce Jam during the NFL Draft in Kansas City. “Everybody’s pretty focused on wanting to do this and become one of those special teams that wins back to back.”
