Children Return to School in England as Coronavirus Lockdown Easing Begins
All children returned to schools across England on March 8 as the first stage of lockdown easing began. Schools had previously only been open for the children of ‘critical workers.’
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on February 22 that children would return to school on March 8. Secondary and college students would receive twice-weekly coronavirus tests.
