Happy Cinco de Mayo, amigos and amigas! This weekend there is a lot for you to get out there and experience. Put on your dancing shoes and head to The Strand Theatre to learn Salsa dancing, sample some tequila or margaritas at the Brook or get ready to boogie-oogie-oogie at Club 3S for a Fireball Latin dance party. What: Children's Day combines family-friendly activities, entertainment, supported by the downtown merchants, area companies, civic organizations and volunteers. Pro Portsmouth creates a map and kids of all ages follow the alphabet. From A to Z, they can visit shops and restaurants, head to the Block Party on Pleasant Street and enjoy all sorts of fun activities and entertainment.
