Chilly in the morning, then warming with possible isolated storms

A dry airmass will settle over most of southern Colorado today, and the change in the forecast will be noticeable compared to yesterday. This morning, it will be cold as you head out the door so make sure that you're wearing a nice, thick jacket. Our temperatures will warm quickly however once we head towards the afternoon. Highs today will be much warmer than yesterday, topping out in the 50s and 60s across the plains. A disturbance to our south could generate a few light snow showers over the southern mountain ranges, and even an isolated afternoon thunderstorm.
