Chilly start tomorrow; wet weekend ahead

Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- This morning’s cool front brought a few showers late last night, but clear skies have returned to end our Wednesday. This front will help to bring another round of cooler temperatures tomorrow morning. Thursday morning lows drop into the lower 30s but feel like values will drop into the 20s.

Readings start to warm back up ahead of our next system this weekend, which will bring a great start for the weekend! Highs will warm into the mid to upper 60s for Friday and Saturday, and expect only a few passing clouds through early Saturday afternoon.

This weekend’s front will bring showers and even a few rumbles of thunder starting early Sunday morning. Sunday remains the day to see widespread and heavy rain, and by Monday showers will become more scattered.

Conditions will start to clear again by Tuesday as this system clears out. Readings will also start to cool back off by Wednesday morning.
