China urges foreign embassies to remove signs showing support for Ukraine
Kyodo said many embassies in Beijing have put up signboards depicting the Ukraine flag and with messages in Chinese and English, such as #StandWithUkraine, to demonstrate their solidarity with the Eastern European country battling a Russian invasion since February last year.

At the same time, the notice from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, dated May 10, urged the embassies and international organizations not to use the outer walls of their buildings for propaganda and “avoid causing conflicts between states.”
According to U.S. news channel CNN, China’s special representative of Eurasian affairs Li Hui will visit Ukraine this week to “promote peace talks.”

Li’s trip will begin on May 15, and he will travel to Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany, and Russia during the tour.
Li is the highest-ranking Chinese official to visit Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The visit comes after Chinese leader Xi Jinping spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by phone last month for the first time since Russia’s full-scale invasion and war began last year.
