Inviting exes to a wedding could potentially spell disaster for the bride and groom, but a woman from China’s Hubei province apparently did just that.

A clip of the woman’s wedding reception, which was uploaded on Weibo on Jan. 9, has already garnered over 2.9 million views for the seemingly awkward moment, which occurred on Jan. 8.

In the short video, at least five men can be seen sitting at a table labelled “table for ex-boyfriends,” at which two women are also seated. Although no backstory was given regarding the women, some social media users have speculated that they could be the partners of two men at the table.

The bride's supposed ex-boyfriends do not appear to be interacting with each other in the clip. One of them can be seen filming the event with his phone, while another can be seen holding a bottle of wine. The others appear to be looking around or staring at their food.

Some Weibo users were hesitant to believe the authenticity of the clip and speculated that it could have been a joke.

It should be a prank. Who handwrites their name tags for their wedding?” one Weibo user inquired, according to Today Online.

This is a prank. It’s obviously written at the last minute to make a video just for fun,” another Weibo user wrote.
