Millions of Texans are still dealing with the devastating impacts of Winter Storm Uri, from loss of power to damage to their homes to compromised drinking water. Chip Gaines recently shared that Magnolia Table, the restaurant that he and Joanna own, flooded as a result of the cold. But they're also sharing a way that you can help their fellow Texans.

Chip shared a video from inside Magnolia Table on his Instagram page, showing flooding and damage to the restaurant as a result of a pipe that had burst. "Here in Waco, we opened the doors to a busted pipe that flooded our restaurant.. but we know this same story is playing out across the state, with so many people facing far worse," he wrote.

He went on in the post to announce the Texas Forever initiative. This initiative, according to the Magnolia site, is a collaborative effort with Magnolia supporting Habitat Texas: Disaster Relief Services, Feeding Texas, and Mission Waco, all organizations already on the ground helping Texans to recover from the effects of Winter Storm Uri. All funds raised will go toward those organizations and Magnolia will be kicking things off by donating $100,000 to the cause. You can choose to make a monetary donation or even buy a Texas Forever t-shirt.

"These groups have already hit the ground running to provide immediate relief to communities across the state, and are committed to long-term recovery and restoration efforts, locally and statewide," reads a statement on the Magnolia site: "The best way we know how to help our neighbors here in Texas is to link arms and continue the good work that’s already begun."
