Chipley Police Officer charged with DUI

CHIPLEY, Ala (WDHN) — A Chipley Police Officer is currently off his beat after a recent DUI arrest in Panama City.

According to Chipley Police Chief Scott Thompson, Chipley Police Officer Paul Demaree was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) on Thursday, February 1, in Panama City.

Chief Thompson says after Demaree was released from the Bay County Jail, he was put on administrative and an internal investigation was launched.
